How to Make Money with a Daily Deal Site like Moolala

Moolala.com is a daily deal site with over 14,000 Facebook friends. They showcase discounts for various type of quality products. What sets them a part from the other daily deal sites is that they offer a very popular and rewarding referral system called the Paymatrix. The Paymatrix is designed in a way that will make you quite a bit of money. As far as I know, there is no other daily deal site that offers this type of reward system. It is actually not as hard as you might think to make money with Moolala once you put a good system into place. I have always had pretty good luck with referring daily deals more than any other type of referral system. What’s great about making money with a daily deal site like, Moolala, is that they offer quality products to consumers that are fairly easy to sell and their customer service is excellent which makes it a huge plus in my book. Each sale made will land you various amounts of money into your moolala account depending on the offer. The offer will specify how much you will earn for each purchase made through your referral link before you share to your friends and followers.

Please watch the video below to see a quick run-through of how Moolala works. After the video, I will share with you a simple step by step method to setup your money-making system.

What you will need:

  • Moolala Account
  • Twitter Account
  • Facebook Account
  • Friends/Followers

  • STEP 1:
If you haven’t already, Sign up for an account HERE. (Make sure you confirm/verify your account through your e-mail if it asks you to)

    STEP 2:
Sign up for a Twitter account if you don’t have one, yet. How you name your Twitter account will depend upon your preference. I would suggest naming it in relation to online deals, daily deals, discounts, bargains, thrifty to give others an idea of what your Twitter account is all about. The idea is to have “targeted followers” (people who are actually looking for deals/bargains) Follow at least 5-10 people related to bargain hunters. Then, take the time to fill out your profile and add a photo.

    STEP 3:
I’m going to assume you already have a Facebook account but if not, sign up for one now. Go back to your Twitter account and connect your Twitter account to your Facebook so Twitter will now allow you to post to your Facebook wall.

    STEP 4:
Great. You should all be set. Go back to your Moolala account (make sure you are logged in otherwise you will not get credit if someone purchases through your referral link). Go ahead and find a deal that you think people would be interested in (hint: you can tell the interest level by the amount of purchases that have been made on that current deal. A low purchase amount doesn’t necessarily mean a poor product – it could mean that the deal is new and not a lot of people have seen it yet so check how long the deal will last to get an idea).

    STEP 5:
When you find a deal you would like to share, click the Twitter button. You will get your own personalized referral link with your referral ID built into it. It will look like a URL shortener. It is best to personalize your tweets so people don’t think your a bot. You want them to think you are a real person so say something like “Hey guys, check this out ” and change it up every tweet. When you’re satisfied with the way your tweet looks, click to share your link onto your Twitter account. Your tweet will also automatically post to your Facebook wall to share with all your friends. So you hit two social media platforms at one time! I would suggest maybe 3-5 tweets a day spaced out. You don’t want to overwhelm your friends and cause them to go blind to your tweets/posts (ie. don’t be spammy or annoy people). It is also good to share other information about yourself or how your day went and mix up your tweets a bit. Keep it personable and ask your followers questions every now and then to show them you’re interested in what they have to say as well.

    STEP 6:
If you still need to build up your followers list, then try following up to 20 people a day. (Don’t over-follow people, Twitter doesn’t like this and you could possibly get banned) Use the search function to find people that may be interested in what you have to share. Try typing in things like “bargain hunting”, “looking for deals”, “bargain shopper”, etc. The goal is to find Targeted followers.

    BONUS TIPS:

In your Moolala account click on Builder Tools and connect your Moolala account to Twitter and Facebook to turn on automatic posting of viral offers. That way you can be one of the first to share the viral deal with others.

If you really want to build up followers quickly, you can use sites like Twellow, Wefollow or Youlikehits. Youlikehits isn’t exactly targeted followers, so I don’t recommend using them continuously. It is fine if you want to get 20+ followers fast, but then after you meet your goal of 20, I’d recommend to stop using it as it doesn’t really help you that much after a certain point.

Use Fiverr.com to find $5 gigs that will post your referral link to their followers. You can have the seller post a deal offer or post it as a link for them to earn money just like yourself.

Create a simple website and share a review of moolala with your referral link to build up your paymatrix.

You can also add daily deals from other sites such as Groupon.com too. Groupon pays $10 Groupon bucks which is the equivalent to $10 US. Groupon bucks can be used to purchase any deals or products from Groupon.
